About
Woodstok Farley was born near the Atlantic coast and on the edge of a swamp in south Florida. His parents gave him the run of the land, so he learned quickly to toss snakes and swim away from sharks and alligators. This freedom to explore created in him a desire to see what was over the next hill or down a deeply forested trail. So he loaded up his VW beetle with driftwood bumpers and along with his constant companion, a German Shepherd named Emmylou, and a backpack he took off across America. Along the way, he met both the good and the bad of this amazing land. And with every mile driven, and every step taken, he searched for the truth in how we relate to the Spirit of God. His journeys were often fueled by alternative realities supplied by nature, but after coming face-to-face with the God he sought, Woodstok decided to embrace only true reality even though it was not always pleasant. Settling down with a beautiful woman and later adding a son, Woodstok now lives in the land of the Alamo and mesquite. And all those stories of the road, well he wrote them down.
